I just do it.

I wing it with the best of them.

Seriously though. I do what’s best for us. If it’s not working, I get rid of it and find something else.

I do my best to combine subjects so we can all learn together.

And I don’t worry about being “behind”. We’re right on track for where we need to be. We’re learning more than just “book work”. I let them be children most of all…and we work on certain subjects daily. But I trust that eventually they’ll catch on to all the things they’re supposed to know. No need in forcing it.

Your homeschool may look different than mine. And mine may look different than a friend’s. But we’re all doing what’s best for our families and THAT is what is most important.
